• The real world is implanted with flexible sensors

• The anticipator/constrainer collects data and fuses it to meet the model and predicts future events under different effector moves

• Moves that tend to constrain futures are taken by controlling effectors (and focusing sensors)

• Feedback is used to update the model and close the control loop
