Problem:
The UNIX console is critical to system operation, and to the
extent it is tied up, the system may not be able to complete critical
tasks. For example, many UNIX systems will stop operating if the
system console is turned off.
Prevention:
Only login to the console to perform system administrative tasks
and keep the console power turned on whenever the system is in operation.
