The First Middle-East Digital Conflict - Update 28, Dec. 2000 23:21
(GMT+02:00).
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
------------------------
MAGLAN-LBA published yesterday a warning regarding the restarting of Cyber
Conflict (maybe and simply 'Digital Conflict?) over the Middle East. Here
are few updates:

- Several Israeli web sites were defaced, e.g. ElbitCom.co.il (e-commerce
developing, ù sub-group of ELBIT Ltd. - military
electronics, medical imaging, communications etc.), Mail2Fax.co.il, more to
find at: www.attrition.org

- Few Israeli Networks of large Hi-Tech companies experienced an intense
scans and various probs.

- The Israeli underground 'Israel's Truth' managed by 'polo0' re-initiate.
New Pro-Palestinians digital targets were published
last night.

- The Arab Hackers call for action - from the 'Cyber jihad ' forum: - "m0r0n
and nightman two hackers who are supporting our cause are calling for the
beginning of Phase 5.. "Global Awareness" involves exactly what the name
implies, awareness in every sector and realm of the Internet about the truth
about what is occurring in Palestine. After an anonymous Israeli hacker
defaced Hizballah on December 26, we decided to move forward with this
phase. Global Awareness constitutes everything from email bombs to message
board postings to defacements. Defacement is the weapon of choice.".
