Fred, Michael,

with all due respect, but this is getting out of proportion to a funny
degree.
Because,
- the 21 highly respected persons (TM) out there (up there?) do not do
much harm do
the average US citizens' breakfast
- even if the evil cyber-dwarf strikes, the US is too strong a nation to
"disintegrate and vanish (TM)"
(or what is your preferred fear?)
- a much greater threat to "national security" than 21 clueless leaders is
that there are
not many more than another 21 who have a clue: the guys who messed up with
your education
system did much more harm to the US than Dr. Rice, IMHO. Look at the
numbers of
computer science students vs. fitness trainer sciences (or whatever).
If that does not scare you worse than the 21 guys, then you are an
invaluable example
of the hammer/nail problem. The day the US will no longer attract skilled
young asians
and europeans will be the real day of national security crisis.

Just my .02£ rant, cheers,
Markus
