In a meeting here, eight Kashmiri groups said the U.S. will face defeat at the hands of the Taliban and the Muslims. The eight -- Lashker-e-Taiba, Hizbul Mujahideen, Tehreekul Mujahideen, Harkat-ul-Mujahideen, Al Badr Mujahideen, Hizb-e-Islami, Harkatul Jihad Islami and Jamatul Mujahideen -- also said that no U.S. manufactured items would be used by them in future, be it military or domestic. They also said that jehad would continue in Kashmir until "freedom" is "won in the valley." "Let there be no confusion. We will fight on both fronts," the announcement said, adding the mujahideen would also be sent to Afghanistan to face the U.S. forces. U.S. strikes in Afghanistan seem imminent with the ruling Taliban refusing to hand over Saudi exile Osama bin Laden, prime suspect in the Washington and New York terror attacks two weeks ago. The mujahideen groups asked Pakistan "not to assist the U.S. in its fight against Islam."( IANS ) ------------------------ Yahoo!
