The island's Criminal Investigation Bureau statement comes after several sites were defaced with anti-US and anti-Israel slogans. FBI officers had requested that Taiwan investigate the attacks. The attacks have been attributed to a group known as GForce Pakistan. Some of the defacements are reported to have carried a threat to pass on sensitive information to terrorist groups, including al-Qaida. The statement ended with a warning that the group might be recruiting members ahead of a new wave of cyber attacks but did not give any further details. ------------------------ Yahoo!
