Until today (9/12) you could carry a folding knife w/a non-serrated blade up to 4" long onto the plane. I know, I have done it as have many of my friends. Look for Leatherman tools and tiny Swiss Army knives to get banned along with the butter knives in airline food service (how long will this last in First Class??) :) Seattle mentioned banning any carry-ons other than a wallet...women's purses included. This is going to get ridiculous. "Those who would trade freedom for security deserve neither." The folks/groups involved had no need of any sort of sophisticated devices. They did not need planning any longer term than a few months at most: IOW - just enough time to accomplish planting their insider, time to pick the most easily compromised airports, etc. __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
